How did – THE SHIFT – start?
Over the past 20 years, I’ve been on a transformative journey, rediscovering my true self. As a child, I always felt different born with a spiritual mother, but for many years I set that part of me aside—it just was as a young kid too complicated. Over the course of two decades, I’ve invested deeply in my personal growth, peeling back layers to uncover greater understanding and development.
We are shaped by the stories we tell ourselves and are being told about who we are, the world around us, and our place within it. Yet, many of these stories are just that: stories. Letting go of the narratives that no longer serve us is one of the most challenging, yet profoundly liberating, steps toward true freedom. Through my own journey, I’ve discovered how dismantling these limiting beliefs can unlock the door to deep and lasting transformation.
This connection grew deeper as I reflected on the astrological shift from the Age of Pisces to the Age of Aquarius—a transition symbolizing a profound transformation in our (inner) world. This shift mirrors the journey of personal growth and resonates deeply with the work I do.
Throughout my coaching career, I’ve discovered that, at their core, people seek one fundamental thing: To feel at home within themselves.
Here, in a small village in rural Northern Portugal, we are creating a space for transformation—not a luxurious retreat center, but a genuine and authentic experience rooted in real life. Over the course of a week, we’ll work intensively to help you connect with your source, tap into your inherent wisdom, break free from limiting beliefs, and craft your Soul Life Script. After a week your view on yourself will be radically changed in a positive way.

In 2020, during an audit of our coaching company, an auditor remarked, ‘I’ve never seen such a unique coaching approach in my career.‘ That moment sparked a profound realization: being different is a gift, and combining the material world with the spiritual world is my Souls Source. This, along with several crises (because a crisis can also be a gift! 😊), inspired me to sell everything—including a successful coaching company—leave the Netherlands with my wife and two kids, and move to Portugal to build a life aligned with our values.
Around the same time, I rediscovered Bitcoin. Although it wasn’t new to me, I decided to delve deeper into its philosophy. The more I explored, the more I realized that Bitcoin is not just about profits or price. It represents freedom—the freedom to believe in something few understand or appreciate at its true value, to question, redefine, and rebuild. For me, Bitcoin became a powerful metaphor for both personal and financial liberation, rooted in unconditional freedom.
The world today feels increasingly disconnected, and many of us feel the same. This sense of disconnection often leads to a crisis—a moment that compels us to ask, “How do I find my way back to myself?” The answer lies in reconnecting—with yourself, your surroundings, and your core beliefs. It’s a journey of letting go of the old, envisioning the new, and allowing yourself to be guided along the way.

We are officially not “open” yet, as we’re still spending time building and shaping our space to be ready for the near future. However, people cross our path and ask for support. So, if you’re seeking guidance to transform your life, you know where to find us, like many others.
You’ll stay for a week at our place, where we are building three guesthouses. Two are finished, and the third will be ready by May 2025. Currently, we live in the guesthouses while our family home is being built. However, we also have a very comfortable camper, where most people find their own space and habitat.
